About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room at Atrium Health Pineville provides and coordinates comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. The RN uses evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassionate and skilled communication, and leadership to promote the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum of care.

The role is part of a collaborative, mission-driven team supported by dedicated OR leadership and teaching-focused surgeons, with access to current technology. This is a part-time night position scheduled Sunday and Monday, 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., for 24 hours per week.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• An active Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of previous operating room experience is strongly preferred.
