About The Position

The Registered Nurse works in the Operating Room at Atrium Health Pineville in Charlotte, North Carolina. The RN provides and coordinates comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. The role uses evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills to help create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. The RN collaborates with surgeons and a mission-driven team, with support from dedicated OR leadership and access to current technology.

This is a part-time night position for 24 hours per week, scheduled Sunday and Monday from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. At least one year of prior operating room experience is strongly preferred. A sign-on bonus may be available to applicants who have not received one from the company for another role within the past 24 months.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of previous operating room experience is strongly preferred.
