About The Position

St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a Special Full Time Registered Nurse for its Cardiac Stepdown Department. The nurse plans, coordinates, and monitors daily patient care with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals. The role is accountable for using available resources effectively, maintaining established standards of care, and meeting outcomes within an appropriate length of stay. The nurse ensures that variations in care based on individual patient needs are justified and well documented, and assists with the management needs of the Nursing Unit.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in West Virginia or a valid compact-state nurse license.
• Knowledge of current nursing procedures.
• BLS certification required.

• Nursing experience is preferred but not required.
