Requirements

Possession of a current Louisiana Registered Nurse license or a temporary permit or multi-state license issued by a Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC/eNLC) state to practice as a registered nurse.

Responsibilities

Provide direct care to patients whose condition requires skilled procedures and techniques on the hospital unit.
Perform professional nurse duties to include administration of blood and blood components, IV meds, parental nutrition, central line therapy, etc.
Performs general nursing duties, including the administration of medication and treatments as ordered by the physician.
Conduct chart reviews, update monthly present orders, and MARs as assigned.
Completes Quality Assurance reports as required.
Performs all other related duties as required in order to maintain the smooth operation of the Nursing Service Department and Villa Feliciana Medical Complex.
