About The Position
Franciscan Health Crown Point is hiring an Emergency Department Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient and family care. Nurses listen to and assess patients, develop plans of care, implement those plans, and reassess and evaluate each patient. This role is in a 12-bed unit, with patient ratios based on census. The opening is for a 0.6 night schedule and requires an experienced nurse; ED or ICU experience is preferred. Alternating weekends and holidays are required, and travel is never or rarely required.
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited program.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in Indiana or a state included in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
- Experience as an Emergency Department nurse is required.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is desirable.
- Emergency Department or Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience is preferred.
