About The Position
Franciscan Health is hiring a Registered Nurse at its Michigan City Campus in Michigan City, Indiana. Nurses provide comprehensive care to patients and their families by listening to and assessing patients, developing plans of care, implementing them, and reassessing and evaluating each patient. The role is in a fast-paced, didactic learning environment, with openings on 5 East (Med/Surg/Ortho, a 25-bed unit) and 5 West (Med/Surg, a 21-bed unit). Each unit has a 5:1 patient ratio. The current openings are for .6 nights and include rotating weekends and holidays. Travel is never or rarely required.
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited program required.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in Indiana or a state listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) desirable.
