About The Position

Franciscan Health Crown Point is hiring a Registered Nurse for its 43-bed Adult Med/Surg and Pediatrics unit. The nurse provides comprehensive care to patients and their families by listening to and assessing patients, developing and implementing plans of care, and reassessing and evaluating patient needs. The unit offers a fast-paced, didactic learning experience, with a typical patient ratio of 4–5:1. Current openings are for a 0.6 FTE night schedule, with alternating weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• Associate degree from an accredited program.
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in Indiana or a state listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
• Experience as a Med/Surg nurse.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is desirable.
