About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides clinically competent patient care by using the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. The RN interacts effectively with patients, significant others, and other healthcare team members while maintaining professional nursing standards. The role evaluates outcomes in relation to evidence-based interventions and focuses on ensuring patients receive quality care and services through efficient use of resources. The RN practices within the scope and standards of nursing defined by the American Nurses Association and the Nurse Practice Act of Virginia. As a member of the healthcare team, the RN makes decisions and performs services in the patient's best interest, contributing positively to the patient experience and team success.
Requirements
- Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Virginia or a compact state.
- Must obtain BLS within 90 days.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care setting.
