Registered Nurse (RN) - Stepdown
About The Position
Main Line Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit at Paoli Hospital. The nurse will work as part of an interdisciplinary team in a 20-bed unit, caring for Progressive Care/Stepdown patients and contributing to their patient experience. The position is 36 hours per week on nights, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with a required weekend rotation. Nurses may participate in hospital- and system-wide nursing committees, unit councils, evidence-based research projects, precepting new staff, and the Clinical Ladder program. The employer offers a tuition reimbursement program for eligible nursing education and certifications.
Requirements
- One year of recent Telemetry or Stepdown-level nursing experience.
- RN Diploma or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN).
- Pennsylvania RN license or a multistate license verified in an approved state through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Responsibilities
