Registered Nurse - Stepdown
About The Position
The Registered Nurse will join the Stepdown team at Deaconess Gateway Hospital, caring for patients recovering from strokes, cranial surgeries, neuro-endovascular procedures, and other complex neurological and medical conditions. The specialized unit cares for both ICU- and stepdown-level patients, providing opportunities to develop assessment skills, clinical judgment, and expertise in high-acuity patient care. As a designated Primary Stroke Center, Deaconess Gateway offers hands-on neuroscience experience and an opportunity to build critical care experience while making a meaningful impact on patients’ lives.
Requirements
- Active Indiana RN license or valid compact RN license.
Responsibilities
- Care for patients recovering from strokes, cranial surgeries, neuro-endovascular procedures, and other complex neurological and medical conditions.
- Provide care for both ICU- and stepdown-level patients.
