Registered Nurse (Dispatch Support & Clinical Workflow Support) - PM Shift
About The Position
RightSite Health is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to support dispatch operations and clinical workflows. The role is based in the company’s San Antonio, Texas office and works closely with physicians and navigators to improve patient flow, reduce prescription turnaround time, and enhance team efficiency. RNs provide frontline support during call periods and, during high-volume surges, serve as the first point of clinical support for dispatch calls when physician backup is activated. The schedule is full-time, with five 8-hour shifts per week from 1:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The role includes prescription workflow support, assistance for high-touch patients who need clinical insight or care-plan clarification, care handoff coordination, case monitoring, escalation, and accurate documentation.
Requirements
- Hold an active and unrestricted Texas RN license.
- Have a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.
- Demonstrate strong communication and decision-making skills in fast-paced environments.
- Be comfortable with electronic health records (EHR), telehealth platforms, and clinical documentation.
- Have familiarity with prescription workflows and pharmacy coordination.
- Be able to work independently, escalate appropriately, and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Demonstrate clinical judgment, composure, adaptability, collaboration, initiative, and clear, kind, timely communication.
Nice To Haves
- Clinical experience in urgent care, emergency department, telehealth, or triage settings is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage prescription workflows, including refills, clarifications, and pharmacy follow-ups under standing protocol.
- Support high-touch patients who need clinical insight or care-plan clarification but do not require full provider management.
- Coordinate with physician and navigator teams to ensure timely care handoffs and patient updates.
- Monitor ongoing cases for escalation needs and ensure timely backup activation when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in all workflows.
- During high-volume surges, provide first-line clinical support for dispatch calls, triaging and maintaining communication flow when physician backup is activated.
