About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) (Medical) to join its team at Southeast Correctional Center in Charleston, Missouri. Centurion provides comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections. The RN provides holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within the appropriate scope of practice. The role works under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to patients’ physical, psychological, and social needs. This is a night-shift position working 30 hours per week. The position offers $37–$45 per hour, plus shift differential, depending on years of experience. A $10,000 hiring bonus is offered to full-time nurses for a limited time.
Requirements
- Missouri RN license or ability to obtain a license.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, including a drug screen and criminal background check.
Nice To Haves
- Corrections experience is not required.
