About The Position

Marlborough Hills Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, an 186-bed skilled nursing facility providing short-term rehabilitation and long-term care, is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to care for residents and support their families. The RN provides direct nursing care and supervises nursing assistants’ day-to-day activities to maintain quality care. The role includes openings on all shifts and an every-other-weekend rotation. Evening, overnight, and weekend shifts have differentials. Pay is $42–$47 per hour, depending on shift, with weekly pay and a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000.

Requirements

• At least a nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing or college.
• CPR certification.
• A current and active RN license in Massachusetts, or be in the process of obtaining one.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants’ day-to-day nursing activities to maintain quality care.
• Meet each resident’s nursing and rehabilitation needs.
• Maintain current care plans for residents under the RN’s care.
• Provide or assist with nursing care, treatments, dressings, and other physician-ordered care.
• Transcribe physician orders promptly and accurately.
• Review patient records daily for accuracy and completeness.
• Document comprehensive nursing notes.
• Visit each resident daily to evaluate their needs.
• Maintain accurate awareness of residents on the alert list.
• Document and report unusual or significant findings and contact the physician when necessary.
