Registered Nurse RN - FT Evening Shift - $3000 Sign-On Bonus
About The Position
FutureCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide resident care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The nurse reviews medical records and referrals to ensure care is appropriate and aligned with State and Federal guidelines, monitors residents’ responses to care, and implements physician orders, nursing interventions, and procedures. The role also includes maintaining professional competency and helping set and implement goals and policies consistent with the facility’s philosophy and purpose. The position is full-time on the evening shift and offers a base pay range of $36.00–$44.00 per hour, shift differentials, and a $3,000 sign-on bonus. Employment offers consider experience, qualifications, location, and certifications or training.
Requirements
- Hold an active Registered Nurse license issued in the state of Maryland.
- Possess a current CPR license.
Nice To Haves
- One year of nursing experience preferred.
- Previous experience caring for residents in an acute or long-term health care facility is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist in delivering resident care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Review resident medical records to ensure nursing practice complies with State and Federal guidelines.
- Review referrals for consultation, treatment, or problem resolution to ensure they are valid and applicable to documented nursing plans.
- Evaluate and monitor resident responses to daily nursing care to ensure resident care plans are met.
- Implement physician orders, nursing interventions, and procedures as needed for resident care.
- Seek professional growth and expanded responsibilities to maintain competency.
- Set and implement goals and policies consistent with the philosophy and purpose of FutureCare’s nursing facility.
