About The Position
Ingleside, a Colony Court Senior Living Solutions community, is hiring a Registered Nurse to support resident care at its senior living community in Fairmont, Minnesota. The role focuses on high-quality resident care and regulatory compliance, including care plans, medication management, documentation, and compliance with assisted living licensure requirements. The nurse collaborates with physicians and medical staff, supervises and supports unlicensed staff, assists with admissions and records, responds to emergencies, and works with leadership on daily community operations. The position is PRN with part-time hours, typically covering Wednesdays, Thursdays, and some Fridays, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Requirements
- Active, unencumbered Minnesota Registered Nurse license.
- Previous experience in an assisted living environment.
- Ability to fluently read, write, and communicate in English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee care plans, medication management, documentation, and adherence to assisted living licensure requirements.
- Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to assess residents and develop individualized health and service plans.
- Support residents through the aging process.
- Supervise, train, and support unlicensed staff, including competency training, staffing coordination, TB testing, and on-call assistance.
- Assist with resident admissions and maintain resident records.
- Respond to emergency situations.
- Partner with leadership to support daily community operations.
