About The Position

Hillsdale Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a Per Diem (PRN) position in Behavioral Health (BHU). This role involves directing and carrying out nursing activities for assigned shifts, administering medications, and ensuring patient safety and confidentiality. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent plus associates degree or higher in nursing
• Valid Michigan RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and TEAMS certification (available through Hillsdale Hospital)

Nice To Haves

• BLS, ACLS, PALS and TEAM training and recertification available through Hillsdale Hospital

Responsibilities

• Direct and carry out nursing activities for assigned shift
• Administer medication assuring consents are obtained on all psychotropic, anti-anxiety agents and antidepressants, and that patient is given medication information
• Ensure all discharge interviews and safety plans are complete for each patient
• Ensure the privacy and confidentiality of protected health information at all times

• 2nd shift premium is $2.00/hour
• 3rd shift is $3.05/hour
• weekend premium is an additional $2.00/hour
