About The Position

The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care through outcome identification and evidence-based practice. As an integral member of the healthcare team, the nurse coordinates patient care and communicates and collaborates extensively with team members, patients, and patients’ families or significant others. The nurse maintains and demonstrates high standards of professional ethics. This is a part-time, on-site position at Virtua Health’s Voorhees location, working a 12-hour night shift from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. for 24 total hours per week. The hourly rate is $44.57–$60.44 and may vary based on applicant experience, internal equity, and market data.

Requirements

Demonstrate knowledge of nursing skills, hospital practices, procedures, and standards.
Keep nursing skills current through ongoing education, journals, and other learning.
Have strong communication skills.
Be able to coordinate the efforts of a team of care providers.
Hold a valid New Jersey RN license and present and maintain approved licensure in accordance with the New Jersey Licensing Board and applicable departmental requirements.

Responsibilities
