About The Position

The Registered Nurse at Saint Thomas Cardiovascular Surgery in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, provides patient care in the cardiovascular surgery specialty. The nurse implements, monitors, and adapts care plans to meet individual patient needs; monitors patient conditions and communicates important updates to the care team; interprets and carries out physician and nursing orders; and leads discharge planning in coordination with the care team to support safe transitions home.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse credential from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained before the hire or job transfer date.
• BLS Provider certification obtained within 30 days of the hire or job transfer date; American Heart Association or American Red Cross certification is accepted.
• Diploma from an accredited school or college of nursing, or required professional licensure at the time of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of RN experience.
• Cardiac experience.
