About The Position

The Registered Nurse Clinic works in Pediatric Endocrinology at St. Vincent Medical Group in Indianapolis, Indiana. This full-time, day-schedule role implements and monitors patient care plans, records and communicates patient conditions, coordinates care among disciplines, carries out physician and nursing orders, and supports discharge planning with the healthcare team.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse credential from the Indiana Board of Nursing, obtained before the hire or job transfer date; a valid state license is required for the state in which the associate works.
• One of the following, obtained within 30 days of hire or job transfer: BLS Provider certification or Basic Life Support Instructor certification. American Heart Association or American Red Cross credentials are accepted.
• Diploma from an accredited school or college of nursing, or the required professional licensure at the time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
