About The Position

PAM Health is hiring a part-time days Dialysis Registered Nurse at Wilkes-Barre Specialty. Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager, or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse uses the nursing process to deliver, direct, and supervise care for patients admitted to the nursing unit. The role includes planning, coordinating, and providing patient care, interdisciplinary and discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. Dialysis Nurses oversee physician-ordered dialysis treatments for patients with acute or chronic kidney failure. The nurse may perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including serving as Charge Nurse when appropriately certified.

Requirements

• RN license in the state where applying.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification is required after 90 days of employment; it is required from day one for Charge Nurses, High Obs, and ICU.

Nice To Haves

• Current ACLS certification initially.
• Certification through the Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission (NNCC).

Responsibilities
