About The Position
The Direct Patient Care Registered Nurse (DPC RN) is a licensed professional who demonstrates proficiency and mastery in assessment, technical skills, communication, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, planning, intervention, evaluation, flexibility, organization, professional accountability, leadership, and service. The RN delivers patient- and family-centered care in a culturally competent manner, using and promoting evidence-based standards for quality, safety, and service. This is a full-time Orthopedics position on the 6:30 p.m.–7:00 a.m. shift. The estimated pay range is $35.40 to $47.77 per hour, depending on experience. The role offers a sign-on bonus of up to $25,000.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse license.
- Associate degree in Nursing or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- At least 1 year of acute Medical Surgical/Orthopedics experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- RNs hired after the applicable facility cutoff dates with an associate degree must complete a BSN within 3 years of hire.
- Complete a preceptor class within 12 months of being deemed competent by department leadership for independent practice.
- Depending on department standards, one or more of the following may be required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, or ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Card.
