About The Position

The Direct Patient Care Registered Nurse (DPC RN) is a licensed professional who demonstrates proficiency in assessment, technical skills, communication, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, planning, intervention, evaluation, flexibility, organizational skills, professional accountability, leadership, and service. The RN delivers patient- and family-centered care in a culturally competent manner, using and promoting evidence-based practices and standards for quality, safety, and service. The position is in Med/Surg Neuro, 2C, and is identified as specialty/non-procedural. The posting offers a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000. The listed schedule is 07A–7:30P.

Requirements

Associate degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Registered Nurse license.
Basic Life Support certification.
Minimum required experience: less than one year.
RNs hired after the specified facility dates with an associate degree must complete a BSN within three years of their hire date.
As required by department standards, one or more of the following may be required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, or an ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Card.
