About The Position
The Registered Nurse will provide care for intermediate care unit (IMC) patients, including cardiac, cardiothoracic, and vascular patients. The role requires experience caring for post-operative day 1 open or closed heart cases. Recent Epic charting experience and experience in a large Level I trauma facility are mandatory.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of RN experience, including 1 year in PCU/Stepdown.
- AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Experience with cardiac, cardiothoracic, and vascular patients, including post-operative day 1 open or closed heart cases.
- Recent Epic charting experience within the last 2 years.
- Experience in a large Level I trauma facility.
Nice To Haves
- PCCN certification.
