Registered Nurse - IMC
About The Position
Registered Nurse position in the IMCU/step-down unit. The position may float between units and has an expected nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4. Special requirements include cardiac drips, post-catheterization-lab procedural care, and tracheostomy/ventilator care. Weekend work is required: six shifts per schedule period. Block scheduling is not required, and on-call work is not required. Forty-eight-hour schedules are approved. The facility is a short-term acute-care hospital with 379 staffed beds and a Level II Trauma Center. Licensed nursing personnel must wear solid navy blue uniforms or scrub attire; scrub tops may have colored piping, but printed tops are not acceptable except in specified units. Free parking is available in unrestricted spaces in surface lots marked “Employee/Visitor Parking.”
