About The Position

PAM Health is hiring a Registered Nurse to deliver, direct, and supervise patient care on a nursing unit using the nursing process. Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager, or Charge Nurse, the RN plans, coordinates, and provides patient care, including interdisciplinary and discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and access to community resources. The nurse may perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse duties when qualified.

Requirements

Current registered nurse (RN) licensure in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if the state participates.
Current BLS certification is required.
Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment; BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Nice To Haves

One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
