About The Position

As a Registered Nurse at Vivie, you’ll be at the heart of the community, leading clinical teams and delivering compassionate patient care while fostering meaningful connections. You may supervise staff, coordinate complex care plans, or directly support patients and families, helping residents live with dignity, independence, and the highest quality of life. The position is part-time and scheduled every other weekend in the morning. It is hourly and non-exempt, with eligibility for overtime. The pay range is $38–$45 per hour, based on location, experience, and qualifications. The role is in the Nursing department and receives leadership from the Director of Nursing or Clinical Care. It has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Minnesota.
Obtain CPR certification within six months of hire.
Clear and compassionate communication abilities.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance and clinical best practices.
Proficiency in English to communicate effectively with residents, team members, and families.
Ability to pass the state-mandated background check.
Physical capability to perform all essential job functions.

Nice To Haves

Experience in long-term care, acute care, or rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

Implement and uphold clinical standards using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Coordinate patient care needs with internal and external services and ensure accurate clinical documentation.
Initiate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures.
Observe and report changes in patient conditions.
Reach, supervise, and counsel patients to promote optimal health and safety.
Promote high-quality physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual care while supporting patient independence and dignity.
Establish effective communication with patients.
Perform other duties as assigned.
