Per-Diem Registered Nurse (Crosslands)
About The Position
The Registered Nurse works in the Crosslands Community, providing quality, personalized care in a team environment while exercising autonomy in clinical decision-making and collaborating with residents and their families. The nurse uses clinical experience to build lasting relationships, assess residents’ needs and support their goals for optimizing physical care, and monitor each resident’s development. The role also serves as a resource for residents and helps ensure a home that promotes quality of life, security, and wellness in accordance with regulatory and department standards. The position is based in a welcoming, supportive, inclusive, and Quaker value-centered community with a family atmosphere. Staff care for residents over time, supporting relationships and a mission focused on love, growth, friendship, peace, and dignity in the later years of life. Crosslands is located near West Chester, Pennsylvania, Wilmington, Delaware, and Maryland, on 500 acres near Longwood Gardens and the Brandywine Valley.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality, personalized nursing care in a team environment.
- Assess residents and support their desire to optimize physical care.
- Monitor the development of each resident.
- Serve as a resource for residents.
- Work closely with residents and their families and build lasting relationships.
- Help ensure a home that promotes residents’ quality of life, security, and wellness according to regulatory and department standards.
