About The Position

The Ambulatory and Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality, patient-centered care through evidence-based practice, clinical expertise, and compassionate care delivery in an ambulatory setting. As a member of Advocate Health’s Nursing Professional Governance community, the RN collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, advocates for patient needs, and upholds professional practice standards to promote optimal health outcomes.

The RN provides and coordinates comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. The role uses evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassionate and skilled communication to help create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

This position is with Aurora Allergy in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, where the team provides allergy testing and care for adults and children with allergy and immunology conditions. Testing includes blood tests, skin prick tests, and patch testing. After diagnosis, the team works with patients on personalized treatment plans to help manage symptoms and find relief.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
