About The Position

BAYADA’s Upstate Skilled Office is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Skilled Private Duty Nursing team and provide homecare to clients. The role involves traveling to one client’s home near the nurse, on a schedule selected to match their availability. Nurses receive onboarding and paid orientation that includes virtual and hands-on training, along with support from the office’s Administrator, Scheduler, and other staff. The position emphasizes compassionate, high-quality, reliable care and offers one-to-one client care. BAYADA is a nonprofit community-serving organization and an equal opportunity employer.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited and approved nursing program, as demonstrated by a school transcript or diploma.
Hold a current nursing license in good standing in the state.

Responsibilities

Travel to one client’s home near the nurse according to a mutually matched schedule.
Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
