About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses to provide one-to-one private-duty care in clients’ homes in the Philadelphia area. The role supports infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatric clients, with a current need for pediatric evening care. Nurses travel to one client’s home, follow a schedule, carry out and document doctors’ orders, assess and monitor client conditions, and document observations, interventions, and evaluations. Nurses are empowered to perform skills autonomously in the home. Available schedules include evening shifts, with PRN, part-time, and full-time options; nurses may work as little as one shift per week. Specific case schedules include a pediatric case from 4:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, a pediatric case from 2 p.m. to midnight on a rotating schedule, and an adult case from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Tuesdays. Pay is $30–$35 per hour.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
• Hold a current nursing license in good standing in the state.

Responsibilities

• Travel to one client’s home near you according to a chosen schedule.
• Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
• Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
• Provide one-to-one care and perform nursing skills autonomously in the home.
