About The Position

The Registered Nurse renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. The nurse provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The role directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age- and developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care.

This position is in the Intensive Care Unit and works 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. on a 12-hour, three-day night shift. The schedule is Monday through Friday with alternating weekends.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Current additional certifications as required by the department.
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas, or eligibility to obtain one.
• At least 6 months of RN experience.

• BSN preferred.
