About The Position

The Registered Nurse renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. Provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age- and developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care.

This position is in the Intensive Care Unit and works PRN nights. Methodist Celina Medical Center is a four-story medical center on a 40-plus-acre campus off Dallas Parkway, serving Celina and surrounding communities. The center will open with 51 beds, with plans for expansion, and offer services including cardiology, women’s services, orthopedics, and robotic surgery. The campus will also include a 40,000-square-foot medical office building.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Current additional certifications as required by the department, including ACLS.
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to obtain one.
• At least one year of critical care RN experience.
