About The Position

The Registered Nurse renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. The nurse provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The role directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age- and developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care.

This position is in the Intensive Care Unit and is PRN, with night hours from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. Workdays vary, and weekends and holidays are required.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Current additional certifications as required by the department, including ACLS.
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to obtain one.
• At least one year of critical care RN experience.
