About The Position

Select Specialty Hospital - Memphis East is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients who need extended healing and recovery. Registered Nurses provide compassionate, excellent treatment and support patients through vulnerable and painful moments. The role is located inside Baptist East in Memphis, Tennessee, and is part-time nights, working 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. two days per week. The hourly compensation range is $37.40 to $56.57.

Requirements

• Valid state RN license.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• ACLS certification required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
• Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
• Interpret assessment and diagnostic data, including laboratory results and telemetry.
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Demonstrate competence in Rapid Response and code events.
• Instruct and counsel patients and families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
