About The Position

Mt Olympus Rehab in Salt Lake City, Utah, is hiring a part-time night Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care to residents. The role offers 12-hour shifts. Night shifts run from 6 PM to 6 AM, and part-time nurses work 1–2 days per week. Part-time employees are not eligible for the listed employee benefits. A nursing tuition reimbursement program provides up to $500 per month, pre-tax, toward nursing school or reimbursement for a nursing program. Eligibility requires working part-time or full-time and completing the first 90 days; no contract is required for the program.

Requirements

• Current Utah-issued RN license in good standing.
• Effective communication skills.
• Willingness to learn local, state, and federal laws and regulations regarding long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Order medications, equipment, and supplies as prescribed.
• Prepare and administer treatments and medications as ordered by the physician.
• Notify the resident's physician and/or family members when the resident's condition changes.
• Provide professional nursing services, including tube feedings, suction, catheterization, and changing dressings, packs, and irrigations as necessary.
• Continuously observe and monitor seriously ill residents.
• Act as a patient advocate and ensure healthcare team members provide care according to the resident's care plan and personal wishes.
• Complete required charting accurately and in a timely manner.
