About The Position

UPA is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join the team at Myoora Homestead, an aged care home in Henty in the Riverina Murray Region. The role provides person-centred care and clinical services to senior members of the community, including residents with dementia. The home is supported by an experienced leadership and corporate support team. Applicants should be available to work various shifts across various days. Visa sponsorship and relocation assistance may be considered for the right candidate.

Requirements

• Full unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Knowledge and understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Affinity and experience working with residents with dementia, or willingness to gain experience.
• Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills.
• A highly motivated team player.
• Complete, or be willing to undertake, vaccination requirements under UPA’s Immunisation and Vaccination Policy, including proof of required doses of a TGA-approved COVID-19 vaccine and annual influenza vaccination.
• Undertake a National Criminal History Check.
• Undertake a Pre-Employment Medical Assessment.
• Appointment is subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks.
