About The Position
Manatee Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a seasonal day position in its Priority Admission Unit. The Registered Nurse promotes and provides safe, competent nursing care in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy, and demonstrates professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The role provides patient-centered nursing care, communicates patient needs to physicians and nursing staff, administers IVs and medications, and uses medical equipment to monitor vital signs. At least two years of experience is required.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current RN licensure in Florida.
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- Current NIH Stroke Certification.
- At least 2 years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Promote and provide safe, competent nursing care in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
- Demonstrate professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
- Provide patient-centered nursing care.
