About The Position
Centurion provides comprehensive healthcare services to the Georgia Department of Corrections and is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join the team at West Central ITF in Zebulon, Georgia. The RN (Medical) provides holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within the appropriate scope of practice. The position works under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to patients’ physical, psychological, and social needs.
Requirements
- Associate's degree.
- Registered Nurse (RN) qualification.
- Active, appropriate certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, including completing a drug screen and criminal background check.
Responsibilities
- Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within the appropriate scope of practice.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to patients’ physical, psychological, and social needs.
