About The Position
Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to provide holistic, patient-centered nursing care to an incarcerated population at Baldwin State Prison in Hardwick, Georgia. The RN works under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to assess and respond to patients’ medical, mental health, and psychosocial needs. The position is described as a structured clinical environment with established policies and workflows, dedicated security presence, and reduced family or visitor interactions. The schedule is a day shift, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends. The stated compensation is $41–$46 per hour.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in nursing.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia, MSL, or Compact.
- Current, active CPR certification.
- Ability to obtain required security clearance, including a drug screen and background check.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, ethical, and evidence-based nursing care.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes appropriately.
- Collaborate with medical, mental health, and custody teams.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Follow established safety, security, and infection control procedures.
