About The Position

Registered Nurse position in an ICU float pool. Nurses may be floated to medical-surgical, telemetry, PCU, overflow, and PACU units when needed. Available start dates are 11/16 for a 13-week contract, and 12/7 or 12/14 for 8-week contracts. The shift is 1900–0730, with 36- or 48-hour schedules available. Weekend work is required, and the nurse must be available to work all holidays. No time-off or scheduling requests can be accommodated. An EKG exam is administered on the first day of orientation and must be passed on the first attempt to proceed with the contract.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of ICU experience.
• Active California RN license at the time of submission; pending licenses are not accepted.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications.
• Experience at a facility with 400 or more beds.
• Flu vaccination is required; declinations are not accepted.
• Must pass the EKG exam on the first attempt during the first day of orientation.
• Must be able to work all holidays; no scheduling or time-off requests can be accommodated.

Nice To Haves

• PA line and Swan-Ganz experience is highly preferred.
• First-time travelers are accepted.
