About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for assigned patients on the unit during a shift. The RN meets Standards of Practice, manages assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment on the unit, and promotes collaboration with all members of the health care team. The position is in a 10-bed Cardiovascular Critical Care Unit supporting a new open-heart surgery program scheduled to open in January 2027. This is a full-time overnight position, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with December and January start dates.

Requirements

• Current unrestricted Alabama or multistate RN license.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.

Nice To Haves

• Cardiovascular Intensive Care (CVI) RN job experience preferred.
