About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) works in a 10-bed Cardiovascular Critical Care Unit and performs the functions of assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for assigned patients during a shift. The RN is responsible for meeting Standards of Practice, managing assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment on the unit, and promoting collaboration with all members of the health care team. The unit's new Open Heart Surgery Program is scheduled to open in January 2027. The position is full-time, working 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with December and January start dates.

Requirements

• Current unrestricted Alabama or Multi-State RN license.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.

Nice To Haves

• CVI RN job experience preferred.
