REGISTERED NURSE - FULL TIME- 6:30am-5:00pm
About The Position
Oklahoma Surgical Hospital is seeking a full-time Surgery Registered Nurse. The RN delivers personalized, comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, using therapeutic communication, technology, and collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. The role is safety-sensitive and includes leadership of non-licensed staff through prescribing, delegating, and coordinating medical-surgical nursing care to support optimal patient outcomes. The schedule is 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a rotating day off. Surgery is closed on weekends and holidays, although someone remains on call. The position requires minimal call. No prior experience is required. The role offers a full benefits package and eligibility for discretionary quarterly bonuses. It also qualifies for a $10,000 sign-on bonus per guidelines.
Requirements
- Current Oklahoma or multi-state Registered Nurse license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Complete Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 60 days of hire; ACLS classes are offered at OSH after hire.
- Knowledge of and demonstrated competency in current nursing practices specific to the unit and patient age group.
