About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team full-time. Ideal nursing candidates demonstrate a strong commitment to service excellence, nursing excellence, and adaptability. As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. We serve patients with general surgery and colorectal needs from the age of 16 yrs old and older. As an out-patient ambulatory RN in the surgical clinic, you will be part of the team educating patients and their families, in the clinic and over the phone. Our general surgeons see patients in the clinical office with gallbladder, spleen issues, and most types of hernias. We work in conjunction with Carolinas Digestive Health for patients with issues such as GERD, hiatal hernia, and reflux. This position will be supporting our colorectal surgeon.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Current BLS certification
  • 1 year of nursing experience preferred

Nice To Haves

  • BSN Preferred
  • Ambulatory Care or Surgery certifications preferred
