About The Position

Atrium Health Musculoskeletal Institute Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is looking for a Nurse Navigator to support our total joints program. The position will require traveling between our Pineville, Rock Hill, and Fort Mill locations. The Nurse Navigator will be responsible for optimizing surgical patients as they prepare for total joints surgery. This position will work closely with our two total joint surgeons and their clinical support teams. Our total joint surgeons; Drs. Weiss and Duffin have been recognized by Castle Connolly as “Top Doctors”. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Navigator to join our team full-time. Ideal candidates demonstrate a strong commitment to service excellence, nursing excellence, and adaptability. As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Current BLS certification
• BSN Required
• Certification in the appropriate specialized field within 2 years of being in the position required

Nice To Haves

• 3 year of nursing experience preferred
• Prior Orthopedic experience preferred
• Prior nurse navigation experience or clinical supervisor experience is a plus.
