About The Position

This is a part-time Registered Nurse position in Outpatient Surgery, working day shifts with variable start times. The role is relief status and does not require weekend or holiday work. The position is part of Trinity Health, a large Catholic Healthcare Organization with opportunities for growth across 21 states.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan
• Current BLS
• Previous nursing clinical experience required

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred
• Current ACLS and PALS or completion of this certification within 1 year of hire into the position.

Responsibilities

• Collect and document comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health and the situation
• Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized for the patient and the situation
• Formulates, communicates, and documents nursing diagnosis based on assessment of health data collected.
• Assumes responsibility to develop, communicate, and document a plan of care that prescribes nursing actions to achieve expected patient outcomes.
• Assumes responsibility to implement, communicate, & document the interventions identified in the plan of care.
• Evaluate and document patient’s progress
