About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care based on the ANA Standards of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing, Butler Hospital policies and procedures, and the Rhode Island Nurse Practice Act. The position is on Delmonico 4, an Adult General Treatment Unit, and follows a 20/40 part-time evening schedule with every other weekend required. The nurse demonstrates knowledge of current TJC requirements for nursing service and participates in unit and hospital Performance Improvement programs.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Rhode Island nursing license.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
