About The Position
Munson Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for its D4 Orthopedics unit in Traverse City, Michigan. The 24-bed inpatient unit primarily cares for adults following total hip, knee, or shoulder replacements, as well as stable trauma patients, joint revisions, and fractures. Nurses work alongside orthopedic specialists and may encounter ROSA, a robotic surgical assistant. The role involves caring for patients throughout their recovery and helping meet complex needs in an environment that can be unpredictable. Team members are expected to be flexible, open to diverse lifestyles, passionate about helping people, and able to maintain a calm, caring demeanor. The position is listed as PRN Days. Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Michigan.
- Two years of relevant experience.
- Diploma or ADN, with a BSN to be completed within five years.
- Employees must be vaccinated or have lab-confirmed immunity for measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella.
- Employees must receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.
