Registered Nurse - D4 Orthopedics - PRN Days
About The Position
The Registered Nurse works in D4 Orthopedics, a 24-bed inpatient unit in Traverse City, Michigan. The unit primarily cares for adults recovering from total hip, knee, or shoulder replacements, as well as stable trauma patients and patients with joint revisions or fractures. The role provides care to patients in all stages of life and works alongside orthopedic experts using next-generation technology, including ROSA, a robotic surgical assistant. Nurses are expected to help meet complex patient needs and contribute to the healing and recovery process in an environment that can be unpredictable.
Requirements
- Hold a current Registered Nurse license in the State of Michigan.
- Have 2 years of relevant experience.
- Hold a diploma or ADN and obtain a BSN within 5 years.
- Demonstrate compassion, communication, attention to detail, and patience.
- Be flexible, open toward diverse lifestyles, passionate about helping people, and able to maintain a calm, caring demeanor in an unpredictable environment.
- Meet the employer’s immunization requirements for measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella, and receive an annual flu vaccine or have an approved medical or religious exemption.
