Registered Nurse- NICU
About The Position
The Registered Nurse delivers safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The nurse directs and guides patient and family teaching and the activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards. The role requires responding quickly and accurately to changes in a patient’s condition or response to treatment, providing a safe environment for patients and visitors, and using the chain of command when needed to support patient well-being and appropriate care. In the NICU, the nurse provides direct patient care within the scope of practice to neonates, from post-delivery stabilization through discharge.
Requirements
- Current and valid state RN license.
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- NRP (AHA) certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
- One year of experience in an acute care setting, with experience in a nursery or NICU environment.

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
